Spirit of Service Scholars program at ASU

choweycreateschange:

I just heard about this great program encouraging folks to pursue a career in the not-for-profit sector. If you ever think about going to ASU, check out this program!

Yes, this is indeed a great program! Mentor Valley youth, learn from renowned public service officials, and earn a $5,000 scholarship towards the cost of your education!

pag-asaharibon:

So here’s an update on what were formerly referred as the Student Recreation Center projects and now called the Sun Devil Fitness Complexes. I’m surprised they’re not giving Tempe, West and Poly each their own distinct name.

For updates on each project, check out their Facebook Page:

  • West Rec Facility

Campus connector

The City of Phoenix’s METRO Light Rail serves as the means of transportation for roughly 40,000 commuters daily. When construction was completed in December 2008, the tracks ran from Sycamore and Main Street in Mesa to Montebello and 19th Avenue in downtown Phoenix, connecting many of the city’s busiest hubs along the way. The Light Rail passes conveniently through ASU’s Tempe and Downtown Phoenix campuses, making them easily accessible to students and public alike. With plans of future expansions, getting around the greater Phoenix metropolitan area is a breeze.
